Tom O'Shea, Training Manager

Tom joined NWFTC in 2013 with a comittment to continuing his focus on delivering high quality training solutions to the wind industry.Tom has been heavily involved in training, development and consultancy for the wind industry since 2010 and has a wealth of experience on a huge variety of turbines both on and offshore. With over 12 years working in technical training for a vast number of industries, ranging from mountaineering to the emergency services and government organisations, he has a proven track record in making significant improvements to the way practical safety courses are designed and delivered.

David Carter, Trainer

Dave has been heavily involved in the offshore industry in a variety of sectors for a number of years and joined NWFTC early 2015. Due to his involvement in media services for the energy sector, he has a filmed, photographed and produced videos for most stages of the "wind farm process" including: Foundations, construction, operations & maintenance, on-site safety/training and a number of mock emergency exercises. Dave's extensive wind farm experience and attention to detail helps ensure our courses are accurate and relevant to the environment the delegates are likely to be working in.

Ben Waddington, Trainer

Ben comes from a background in rope access and whitewater river safety and rescue, as well as extensive raft guiding experience from the Olympic Whitewater Course at Lee Valley and joined NWFTC early 2015. He has been involved in the delivery of courses to some of the UKs most advanced emergency services and these skills have transferred seamlessly to wind industry training. Ben's broader knowledge of safety and rescue enables us to remain current and pragmatic in the way we design and deliver our courses.

Ellie Loaring-Adams

Ellie has a career background of training and coaching within various industries including law, local media, estate agency and business process outsourcing. Her involvement in all aspects of learning and development has given her a 360° view of the training cycle, and a holistic understanding of good learning practices. With experience in professional development, Ellie’s focus is on building robust client relationships, and finding new and innovative ways to grow the business.

Danny Lever

Danny assumed overall responsibility of NWFTC in late 2017 and manages the day to day operations of the Training Centre, he has vast experience in the Training & Development of Marine & Offshore personnel. He is always seeking to push the company in new directions and spot the opportunities which will help develop the business at the same time as constantly looking to improve our systems and processes to ensure that our customers are receiving the best service possible to maintain our status as one of the UK's leading GWO training organisations.
